Beverly Thomas

Mrs. Beverly Thomas is President of Regional Contracting Services. The firm was established in July 2001 in Washington, DC. Since the company’s inception Beverly has managed the sales, marketing and community outreach for the firm. Regional has incrementally grown into a successful commercial carpentry firm employing 57 full time employees with annual revenues between $12-$15 million dollars.

Prior to establishing the firm, Mrs. Thomas was employed as a Branch Manager for Terminix International in Atlanta, Philadelphia and New York. She worked as a Marketing Assistant for Junior Achievement of Georgia. Both positions provided a firm foundation to operate a small business.

Beverly contributes Regional’s success to her faith in God, a strong team and a loving supportive husband and son. She’s always striving for excellence and working to grow both personally and professionally. She decided to enroll in graduate school. After working all day, she attended classes at night and in December 2018, Beverly earned her MBA in Business Management from Washington Adventist University in Takoma Park, Maryland.

Regional Contracting Services has received numerous awards as an outstanding small business at the local, state and federal level. The firm has been featured in local and national publications. Recently, Regional was recognized as the Minority Business Enterprise of the Year in May 2018 by the Maryland Washington Minority Companies Association. Mrs. Thomas was featured in the March 2018 issue of American DBE Magazine for her work in the National Museum of African American History and Culture. In February 2019, Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) recognize Regional Contracting Services and three other firms for their outstanding hiring, training and retention practices, specifically with Baltimore City residents. And in July, 2019 the firm was recognized by WMATA for their current participation on the WMATA 6 Blue Line Rehabilitation Project.
