Keiva G. Rodriques, PMP, CCM is Deputy Chief Engineer at the MDOT Maryland Aviation Administration currently overseeing the administration of the Division of Planning and Engineering and supporting the MAA’s Executive Director, Mr. Ricky Smith. Before joining MDOT, Keiva was a construction management consultant providing project management services to the MDOT MAA to manage the construction and inspection of several projects at the BWI Marshall Airport. Additionally, she managed capital projects around the Washington, DC metro area for various clients including the City of Bowie, Anne Arundel County, MD, and the Federal Reserve. Prior to that, she worked with a Fortune 500 management consulting firm, as an Environmental, Occupational, Safety and Health subject matter expert for the FAA, and a program manager for both the Department of Energy and the Department of Defense where she led efforts in support of program planning, budgeting and execution of several projects. Keiva also managed several multimillion-dollar capital projects as a Construction Manager at Risk.
Keiva is a native Baltimorean, born and raised in West Baltimore. After graduating from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, she attended the University of Maryland College Park where she received a BS in Civil Engineering in 2004. She went on to attend the University of Baltimore where she received a Master of Business Administration degree. She’s a member of the Construction Managers Association of America (CMAA), volunteers with the BWI Summer Youth Initiative, a member of the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS), and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., an organization routed in sisterhood, scholarship and service.
