Patrick Hannah, has worked in financial services and government affairs on the federal, state and local level for over 30 years. He served in The White House – Office of Legal Counsel and the North Carolina Senate – Office of the President Pro-Tem. He currently serves as a Chairman of the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority and chairs the Authority’s Law and Personal Committee, and is a member of the Marketing and Finance Committees.

 

He received his undergraduate degree in History with a minor in Education from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, and his law degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law in Durham, North Carolina and Executive Education in Leadership Development from Harvard Law in Boston, Massachusetts.

 

Patrick currently works as Sr. Counsel for Liberty Mutual Insurance. He is responsible for all legislative, regulatory, and public affairs matters for the company in the Southeastern United States for (9) jurisdictions: AR, MS, AL, TN, GA, NC, SC, FL and Puerto Rico with regulatory management oversite for $4.2B in premium. He serves on the Legal Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Other Boards: He is the Chairman of the Corporate Round Table for the National Black Caucus of State Legislators, Chairman of the Arkansas Earthquake Authority in Little Rock, AR. Member of Truist Bank Triangle Advisory Board and Fomer Chairman of the Durham Area Transit Autority (DATA).

 

Prior to joining Liberty, he gained experience in Higher Education and Litigation, having worked as Special Assistant to the Chancellor and Director of Government and Community Relations at North Carolina Central University. He also worked on complex products liability litigation with Womble, Carlyle, Sandridge, & Rice, PLLC in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.
