Nicole Elam

Nicole A. Elam, Esq. is President and CEO of the National Bankers Association, the leading trade association representing America’s mission-driven financial institutions. She is the youngest CEO in the Association’s history.

Since joining in 2021, Nicole has led a period of significant growth for the sector, elevating the role of mission-driven banks as economic anchors that expand access to capital, support entrepreneurship, and drive sustainable community growth.

Previously, Nicole served as Vice President of Government Relations at JPMorgan Chase & Co., shaping national public policy strategy and engagement initiatives. She holds a J.D., cum laude, from Howard University School of Law and a B.A. from DePauw University.
